Thanksgiving Weekend

What a nice weekend it was. My parents joined the Farr's this year. Which is great, since Ken, Kerry, Sam, and Joel joined us last year with my parents. I always love to have them around, and the Farr's are always kind to them.
This is the after eating and digesting time. We looked at our first black Friday ads and joined in with lots of the couples this year. It was a little crazy for me. I couldn't get my head to stop thinking about it, and got up at about 2:30, when I didn't have to be ready til 4! ahhhh!!!
This is how John looked,
This is how he felt. He worked through the night....but got the rest of the weekend off!!! Wahooo!!!! John was asked to give the prayer before dinner, he was a little emotional. No surprise really, but it was not just about gratitude. He really (we really) missed his dad that day.
On Saturday, we got to go to the Oquirrh Mountain temple and see this family add to there sealed family for forever. This little beauty was kind of a surprise, but has been greatly welcomed into their family since she was 3 days old. The spirit was so strong, and many tears were shed. It was amazing to be a part of.

I am sincerely looking forward to this sealing. It will take place in January, and I am so excited that John and I will get to be there. What an amazing family!!!

I am so grateful for Forever families, and for our Savior who makes it all possible.

Glory to God! Glory to God! Glory to God in the highest!

I am soooo glad you have family close by to do fun things with.
I did the black friday shopping for 3 years and I don't think I'm ever going to do it again. Good thing you survived!!!!!
Merry Christmas and may the Lord continue to bless you and your family the new year. Love, Haydee.
