John is really good at initiating Saturday clean up, When he is not home, I try to be a pro-active, because I know that is the way he would want me to be. Well, I went way outside of my box today and did weeding. Let me state that as a child, I helped inside. The boys(4 older brothers) did the outside work. I liked that system. This new system I feel compelled to do because John isn't home, and it is MY home is not so cool to me.I am an out doors kind of girl. I like camping, I like hiking, fishing... I am willing to try most things once, but if dirt gets under my nails...HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!!
It is just one of those weird things with me. Come on, everyone has them. Mine is just a little bit girly. I just hate the way it feels under my nails. It dives me insane.
When "Survivor" first came out and they could take one item with them, my first thought was finger nail clippers. Not for any super practical purpose, I would be needing them to dig out the dirt.
I'm weird I know, but I was thinking, having it under your nails can't be near as bad as having it in your MOUTH! Super disgusting!

I'm the same way, not doing a lot of yard work growing up. I was to keep the house clean. I still find myself in the same rut as I look outside at weeds etc.
I really don't mind weeding if I have gloves, but before I was pregnant, or w/an infant, even now Belle will run in the street if I start focusing on the weeding. Makes it hard.
I keep telling myself my house will be organized, the yard nice, I will have time for me to excercise and be skinny etc. When Belle makes it to school! We'll see though
