The baby is NOT here yet, but can you really tell the difference in the pic? John looks the same, and Noah and Deeken look like they could be twins in this picture! Deeken is now exactly the age that Noah was when Micah was born. That is just so crazy to think!
So here is the pregnancy update...I went to my Doctor today, feeling a bit better, minus some severe headaches, and the Doctor comes in. At first I thought it would be a quick visit, he asks if the baby is moving? How are my contractions? And then the bomb..."well, you have a little bit of protein in your Urine, your blood pressure isn't to high, but it has gone up. So, you get to pee in a bucket for 24 hours and we are going to see if you have pre-eclampsia. You haven't had any headaches or pain in your stomach?" Yes, I have been having headaches. "Okay, well we will see what the results are and take it from there. You are now 35 weeks, the baby may have to come early, and you may have to be on bed rest, and...and....and' My head is swimming.
So for now, I am going to pee in a bucket for 24 hours and wait till I find out if somehthing is really wrong with me. My husband is keeping an eye on my blood pressure(LOVE YA SARAH), and I am trying to take it easy. I tend to be on the dramatic side(for all who know me this is an obvious statement). I am trying to not over react(Sorry about the bomb comment above), but more than anything right now I wish I had my old doctor. Farley or Olmstead would do. I just came here thinking as long as he is competent, it will be fine...but now, I wish I had that reassuring trust that you find with some doctors...oh well, I am sure all will be fine.
I will keep you updated.

Oh Amy I am sorry you are going through this right now, plus having a new Dr. Hang in there, even if your baby comes early she will be fine. You are already past the point where Kennedy was born(34 weeks) and she did great. Please keep us updated on how you are doing. You are in our prayers.
Amy,
We are sorry to hear of the complications - hope all will be well. It will all be over soon. You and Josie will be in our prayers. Keep us updated. Love, Ma and Pa Farr
This too shall pass, at least that's what people told me. Honestly it didn't always make me feel better, but it was an attempt. Don't worry about being dramatic, I think your entitled to a little dramatics from time to time, especially when your pregnant, hormonal and tired. I am sure all will be well, like many others, you guys are in our prayers.
I LOVE this picture of you. You look like a movie star. That's the first thing I thought to write about after I finished reading your post, but after I read everyone else's comments, mine seemed a little shallow. So, here's my attempt at being "deep." If you have to go on bedrest, I'll clean your toilets and take your kids somewhere ... everyday and I'll make you dinner or do whatever you need. Honest, truly, for reals.
Hey Aim, first off you do look great in that picture ND I remind myself often of the weight thing too. Wut you are in the same boat as I am, who has time for exercise, I think moms have the right to have weight just fall off our bodies after baby #4.
I can sympathise with you on this one. The whole going in for a 'routine' visit and have it turn into a mild scare. On my #4 35 wk visit, my doc found that I would not be able to deliver 'normally', and they had to do ultrasounds, and even a amnio and deliver 2 wks early by c-section, along with minor surgery. I was a mess the entire few weeks, I had to wait, mostly cause my doc was in Africa, but the who c-section threw me for a loop. But all went well, Baby and mom fine, and in the end, I was awarded beautiful baby Cache. I will keep you in my prayers, it is a lot to handle, especially with 3 busy, little ones! Hang in there! All will go well! and Beautiful Josie will be here before you know it!
You are a trooper and an amazing mother, it will all work out. Hang in there, Josie will come when she is ready. I can't believe how much Noah and Deeken look alike, I hope Micah and Josie will also because Micah is so beautiful. Thanks for keeping the blog updated.
Hey Amy. I'm sorry you're having some complications. It will be over very soon and you'll have your new little baby in your arms and you'll forget all about it!! My prayers are with you...
Take it easy and know how many people are praying for you guys. I miss you and can't wait for long till you are here. Good luck and we will be checking on you. Love you.
Peeing in a bucket that sounds GREAT!!! Now how often do you get to do that. Good times! Being a mom is soooo not for wimps, you are amazing. Take it easy and remember your good friend Hilary weighed about 25lbs more than you. Sometimes it just makes me feel better when I know someone else was bigger than me!
Love ya!
I gasped when I saw that picture of Noah holding Micah. I thought you had the baby! Hang on! I'm sure everything will be fine. You look GORGEOUS in that picture, not just moderately attractive and most women would kill to be 150 pounds. Sick. :) Miss you!
