The Westover's told us that President Hinckley once went to visit the DC temple and said,(something to this effect) "How can the people here have a temple three times as big as the Spokane, WA temple and have half the attendence?"
The temple may be small, but the people here are serious about their temple work. It is often very busy. At most little temples you REALLY have to call to make an appointment to go to the temple, but usually here, they are so busy that they can squeeze you in, unless they are too busy.
We feel blessed to have gotten to live so close to a temple both places we have lived outside of Utah. John and I haven't got to go yet(no babysitters---I am working on the socializing), but I am sure it is as beautiful inside as it is out.

I'm sorry you are having a hard time. I couldn't imagine having to start over. I'm sure things will start to get better soon and hopefully you will find some peace in your life. I'm hoping some peace will come to mine too...I'm at least hoping for some comfortable sleep...maybe only short naps, but comfortable nonetheless. :) I'll be praying for you and your family. Take care of yourself and that baby!
Amy, I'm so glad you were able to be comforted by being there! You are a trooper, and your so nice it won't be long before you make lots of new friends.
Amy,
I am so glad you found my blog, I was so happy to see a comment from you. Your family is beautiful. I CANNOT believe Noah is 6 and that you are having your 4th baby, that is awesome. I too miss the 1st ward and a lot of the friends we had there.
I agree that you will have new friends in no time. We may be headed out of state for PA school and that is one thing that makes me nervous...leaving all of my friends and family here and making new friends where ever we end up.
Good luck with everything and your new baby. I will peek at your blog to stay updated. Oh by the way, I love the name Deeken. Your kids are so cute.

Amy, Hang in there, I have moved so many times I don't even want to count any more. I always say there is a hump day that you hit when you don't look back any more, you just embrace where ever you are because it passes too quickly and you don't want to miss anything or anyone new and exciting. Like you said "Home is where Jon is" It's so true!!! Just being together as a family is the best.
Your pictures are absolutely beautiful. What kind of camera and lens are you using? You are amazing! And you are such a fun mom. I love clicking through all your posts, just to see the fun things you do with your cute kids.
AMY!
Hey there - it is great that this blogging world is making our worlds smaller and easier to stay in touch! It sounds like you guys are on a big adventure - but I wouldn't have expected anything less from either of you two! You family is great - thanks for finding us - sorry I am slow to reply! We are good - just plugging along with our three kids and enjoying life (I say that, but my wife is really stressed since she was just made Primary Pres!) - good to hear from you - keep enjoying the ride!
This is Josh Cox - sorry, still new to this whole blogging/commenting thing!
