My Oldest brother Brett, doesn't like to fly. So he drives. He drove from St. Louis to Portland for a job interview. Luckily enough Utah is on the way. He stopped for an extra day on the way back to recover from all the driving, and my kids and I got to spend some time with him.
It was fun. Just how it should be when an Uncle comes to visit. My kids dig him. I just asked Josie if she knew who this was, and she said, "Brett silly." It has been a month now since we saw him, and she still remembers. I'm not sure she remembers the name of my brother who lives here. Brett made a good impact! We had a good time.
Just he and I took a drive to see the this is the place monument. We were looking for Brigham with a bird. He doesn't have one on this monument just so you know. He does however have one on the one by the SLC temple.
Brett wanted to take a picture of the sunset. This is where he learned his wife is a much better photographer than me, especially outdoors.
I was glad he came. He was good to my kids and made some memories. I hope he brings all his girls back this summer and we make some more!

Yes I'm ready to let my kids quit everything, b/c I HATE all the running around, trying to get homework done, and make dinner. How do people stay sane?
And Now, Avery starts Activity Days!! Also, activity days are on the same day/time as her tumbling.
London and Belle aren't even really added to that picture yet. We will see what they do..

i am glad you got to be with brett. i really would like his nieces and nephews to think of him as a fun uncle. you are an awesome photographer and i don't think my outdoor pictures turn out better than yours.
maria wants to do ballroom dance.... i have no idea where to take her to take lessons.
noah looks very sharp and i wish i could see him dance. i bet she is really good at it.

uNCLES truly are the best. I mean, not that I had that great of uncles, but my kids do. I love it.
