I remember as a little girl it taking my mother forever to do my hair. She would start over and over again(she is a perfectionist). I remember friends or aquaintances teaching my mother how to French braid. I really am trying to spare Micah, and even Josie(who will have Micah to point out how funny her hair looks) any memory of these first trials. I really do appreciate my mom taking the time to learn, it helped space out my frizzy hair permed days. At least she was a perfectionist, and my hair always ended up looking nice, no matter how long it took. Micah will just have to put up with what she gets for now. Between, Deeken and my lack of knowledge, she is lucky it even gets combed!
I LOVE YOU MICAH!
PS I did this in 20 minutes. Mind you that is never having done it before, and with no hairspray(next investment). I was quite proud of myself. Micah's response, "Well, Daddy will like it."

Shaper Plus will hold anything in place.
Not to bad for a first run! Of course Micah makes anything look cute. Miss you guys
Hey, I think you did pretty good for a first try. I'm sure mine would look no better! :) Maybe someday I will get the chance to try it out. Guess we'll see. Hey....when are you guys moving? We just got a new patio set and maybe we can get together for a BBQ before you move (that is if the weather will cooperate)! Talk to you soon!
My amazing Micah! What a beautiful girl you are! You are the answer to a grandmothers dreams. One of my favorite things is braids and I've waited a long time to see them in your hair. You look wonderful and I don't think I ever did a better job than your mom did her very first time. I hope to see you wearing braids many times in the future. I think I've seen Whitney with braids a few times but not for quite a while. I love you very much and I am so proud of my beautiful girl.
Love Grandma Hyde
She looks beautiful!!! Good job Amy. I think you did a great job. Love, Haydee.
I think it looks great. I can do ponytails, but when it comes to french braids and that sort of thing-yours looks perfect.
You did great! Perfect french braids are totally overrated, in my opinion. I'd be happy to teach you anything, anytime. I love doing hair! One thing that I think really helps is having a squirt bottle with water close at hand. It makes the hair less slippery.
Hi Amy,
It's Ashley (staples) Quist from gold old DHS. I can't remember if I have commented before or not. You have just a darling little family and congrats on baby #4!! Little Micah is sooo cute! I would love to learn to french braid, especially with all my girls!! It's been fun to catch up. Would you mind if I added you to my blog? thequistfam.blogspot.com
Amy you are awesome. I think she is adorable and so are you. Love ya.
Oh sweet Micah.
You couldn't be more adorable!
